Terms of Service
Last updated: 24 February 2026
Summary (not a substitute for the full terms below)
- Purchases are processed by Polar as Merchant of Record — they handle billing, receipts, and VAT.
- You get a 30-day full refund, no questions asked.
- “Lifetime access” means access for as long as AIwithTS operates the platform — not forever.
- Your license is personal — no account sharing or content redistribution.
- AI features are educational tools, not professional advice.
- These terms are governed by Swiss law.
1. Who We Are
AIwithTS (“AIwithTS”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is operated as a sole proprietorship (Einzelfirma) under Swiss law by:
Oliver Greuter-WehnStrassburgerallee 87
4055 Basel, Switzerland
hi@aiwithts.dev
The platform is accessible at aiwithts.dev (the “Platform”).
2. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or completing a purchase on the Platform, you (“you”, “Student”) agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use the Platform.
If you are purchasing on behalf of a company or organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity, and “you” refers to that entity throughout these Terms.
These Terms constitute a binding contract under the Swiss Code of Obligations (Obligationenrecht, OR). Where mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence grant you greater rights, those rights are not affected.
3. Registration and Account
Accurate information. You must provide accurate and complete information when registering. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
No account sharing. Your account is for your individual use only. You may not share login credentials, session tokens, or course access with any other person. Sharing constitutes a material breach of these Terms and may result in immediate account suspension.
Account deletion. You may delete your account at any time via the settings page. On deletion, your personal data will be erased as described in our Privacy Policy. Account deletion does not automatically trigger a refund; the refund window in Section 6 applies independently.
4. Products and Content Access
4.1 Access licence
On successful payment, AIwithTS grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable licence to access and use the purchased course content for your own learning and professional development (“Licence”). The Licence begins at the moment access is granted and lasts for the duration described in Section 4.2.
4.2 “Lifetime access” defined
“Lifetime access” means access for as long as AIwithTS continues to operate the Platform for that course (“Platform Lifetime”). It does not mean perpetual access regardless of circumstances — operating a live platform involves infrastructure and maintenance costs that may not be sustainable indefinitely.
If we permanently discontinue a course or the entire Platform, we will give at least 90 days’ advance written notice by email. Students who purchased within the 12 months preceding the discontinuation date will receive a pro-rated refund calculated from the discontinuation date.
4.3 Future access models
We currently offer lifetime one-time purchases. We may introduce subscription plans or other access models for new products in the future. Existing lifetime purchases will never be retroactively converted to a subscription without your explicit written consent.
4.4 Content updates
We may update, revise, expand, or retire individual lessons, modules, or features at any time to maintain accuracy and relevance. We do not guarantee that specific content will remain unchanged indefinitely. Material reductions in content will be communicated in advance. For EU consumers, the digital-content conformity provisions of Directive 2019/770 apply for two years from the date of supply.
5. Pricing and Payment
5.1 Polar as Merchant of Record
All purchases on the Platform are processed by Polar Software, Inc. (“Polar”), which acts as the Merchant of Record. This means:
- Your payment contract — covering billing, VAT/sales-tax collection and remittance, and your purchase receipt — is with Polar, not with AIwithTS.
- Your content Licence contract — covering your right to access course materials — is with AIwithTS under these Terms.
- Polar’s own Terms of Service govern the payment relationship.
5.2 Taxes
Polar calculates and collects applicable taxes (including EU VAT) as part of the checkout process. The price displayed at checkout is the final, tax-inclusive price; no additional taxes will be added by AIwithTS.
5.3 Currency and pricing
Prices are denominated in EUR. Polar may display equivalent prices in local currencies at checkout based on your location. We reserve the right to adjust prices for new purchases at any time; price changes do not affect orders already placed.
5.4 Payment failures
AIwithTS is not responsible for payment failures caused by issues with your payment method, your bank, or Polar’s systems. Contact Polar support or your bank to resolve payment issues.
6. Refunds
6.1 30-day money-back guarantee
If you are not satisfied with a course for any reason, you may request a full refund within 30 days of purchase. No explanation is required. This applies to all individual course purchases.
6.2 How to request a refund
Email hi@aiwithts.dev with your order reference (found in your Polar receipt or in the Platform settings page). We will initiate the refund through Polar. Refunds typically appear within 5–10 business days depending on your payment method and bank.
6.3 Access on refund
Your access to the course will be revoked once the refund is processed. Any progress, notes, or AI conversation data associated with that course may be deleted.
6.4 Team licences
The 30-day refund policy applies to team licence purchases. Contact us at hi@aiwithts.dev to initiate a refund.
6.6 EU and UK statutory withdrawal rights
EU consumers have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal under Directive 2011/83/EU. UK consumers have equivalent rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Our 30-day guarantee exceeds these statutory minimums. By completing a purchase and requesting immediate access to digital content, EU/UK consumers acknowledge that they are aware of their statutory withdrawal right and that our contractual 30-day period applies in its place. No separate waiver is required to obtain refunds under our policy.
7. Team Licences
A team licence grants access to the purchased course(s) for a defined number of concurrent users (“Seats”) within a single organisation.
- Seat activation. Seats are activated individually using the team licence key. Once activated, a seat is tied to the activating user’s account.
- Seat transfers. Activated seats may not be transferred to a different user without prior approval from AIwithTS. We will grant transfers for legitimate reasons (e.g. staff changes) upon request to hi@aiwithts.dev.
- Admin responsibility. The team administrator purchasing the licence is responsible for ensuring that all seat holders comply with these Terms.
- Licence key confidentiality. Licence keys are for your organisation only. Do not share keys publicly or with parties outside your organisation.
8. Intellectual Property
8.1 Ownership
All course content — including written lessons, code examples, diagrams, videos, quiz questions, and other materials — is owned by AIwithTS and protected by Swiss copyright law (URG) and applicable international copyright treaties.
8.2 Your licence
Your purchase grants you a personal licence to:
- Access and view course content for your own learning and professional development.
- Use and adapt provided code examples in your own commercial or personal projects (unless a specific example is marked with a more restrictive licence).
8.3 Prohibited uses
You may not, without our prior written permission:
- Copy, reproduce, distribute, resell, or sublicense any course content in any form or medium.
- Share your account credentials or grant others access to your purchased content.
- Use course content — in whole or in part — to create a competing educational product.
- Scrape, bulk-download, or extract course content programmatically (e.g. via automated scripts, bots, or screen-recording pipelines intended for redistribution).
- Remove, obscure, or alter any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices.
8.4 Feedback
If you submit ideas, suggestions, or feedback about the Platform, you grant AIwithTS an irrevocable, royalty-free licence to use that feedback without obligation to you.
9. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Platform to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation.
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users or AIwithTS personnel.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to Platform systems, databases, or other users’ accounts.
- Introduce malware, viruses, spam, or other disruptive code or content.
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person or organisation in a way that causes harm.
We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate accounts that materially violate these Terms. For flagrant violations (e.g. systematic redistribution of paid content), termination may occur without refund.
10. AI-Powered Features
The Platform includes AI-powered features such as the Quiz Agent and the “Ask the Course” assistant (collectively, “AI Features”), powered by third-party AI models from Anthropic and OpenAI.
- Educational purpose only. AI Features are designed to assist your learning. They may produce inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated output. We make no warranty regarding the accuracy or reliability of AI-generated responses.
- Not professional advice. Nothing generated by AI Features constitutes legal, financial, security, medical, or any other professional advice. You are solely responsible for independently verifying AI-generated information before using it in production systems or making decisions based on it.
- No training on your data. Your conversations with AI Features are not used to train AI models. Both Anthropic and OpenAI process inputs under API terms that prohibit use of API data for model training. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
- Availability. AI Features are provided on a best-effort basis. We may limit, modify, or discontinue them at any time, including as a result of third-party AI provider changes.
11. Third-Party Services
The Platform relies on third-party services including Supabase, Vercel, Mux, Resend, Anthropic, OpenAI, and Polar. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of these services. Your use of third-party services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies.
The Platform may contain links to external websites. We do not endorse and are not responsible for the content or practices of those sites.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Platform and its content are provided “as is” and “as available”. AIwithTS makes no warranty, express or implied, including:
- That the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.
- That course content is free from inaccuracies, or that it will meet your specific learning objectives.
- That defects will be corrected within any particular timeframe.
- That the Platform is suitable for any particular purpose beyond what is described.
Nothing in this section affects any statutory guarantees you may have under applicable law, including digital-content conformity rights under EU Directive 2019/770.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Swiss law, AIwithTS’s total cumulative liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product giving rise to the claim in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to liability.
We shall not be liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
- Loss of profits, data, business opportunities, or goodwill.
- Damages resulting from unauthorised access to or alteration of your account.
- Losses caused by third-party service outages (e.g. Polar, Supabase, Vercel, Mux).
Swiss law carve-out (OR Art. 100): The above limitations do not apply to damages caused by AIwithTS’s gross negligence (grobe Fahrlässigkeit) or intentional misconduct (Absicht). Liability for such conduct remains unlimited as required by Swiss law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the mandatory laws applicable to you, including mandatory consumer protection rights in your country of residence.
14. Force Majeure
AIwithTS shall not be in breach of these Terms for any delay or failure to perform caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, government actions, internet or infrastructure failures, third-party service outages, or other force majeure events. We will notify you of any such event as soon as reasonably practicable and will use reasonable efforts to mitigate its impact.
15. Export Compliance
You represent that you are not located in, and are not a national or resident of, any country or territory subject to comprehensive trade sanctions (e.g. as imposed by Switzerland, the EU, the US, or the UK) that would prohibit receipt of the Platform or course content. You agree to comply with all applicable export control and sanctions laws in your use of the Platform.
16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Switzerland, specifically the Swiss Code of Obligations (Obligationenrecht, OR), to the exclusion of conflict-of-law rules.
Subject to the consumer-protection exception below, any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Basel, Switzerland.
Consumer protection exception. If you are a consumer resident in an EU member state, you retain the right to bring proceedings before the courts of your country of residence, and the mandatory consumer protection laws of that country also apply. The choice of Swiss law does not override those protections.
17. Dispute Resolution
We encourage you to contact us first at hi@aiwithts.dev so we can resolve any issue informally before resorting to formal legal proceedings.
EU Online Dispute Resolution. If you are an EU consumer and we are unable to resolve a dispute, you may use the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are not obligated to participate in such proceedings but will consider them in good faith.
18. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. For material changes, we will notify you by email and/or a prominent notice on the Platform at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Minor changes (such as correcting typos or clarifying existing language without affecting your rights) may be made with shorter or no notice.
Continued use of the Platform after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance of those Terms. If you do not accept the changes, you may stop using the Platform and request a refund in accordance with Section 6, provided the refund window has not passed.
19. General
- Entire agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and AIwithTS regarding the Platform and supersede all prior agreements or representations.
- Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable by a competent court, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions continue in full force.
- No waiver. Failure by AIwithTS to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of the right to enforce it in the future.
- Assignment. You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of substantially all of our assets, provided your rights are not materially diminished.
- Language. These Terms are written in English. If translated, the English version prevails in case of any conflict.
